Gloucestershire Horse Transport (GHT) offer a self drive horsebox hire service for the day, weekend or week. Our self drive horsebox hire service is perfect for those who don't have their own horsebox, whose own horsebox won't start, is unreliable or being repaired and those just looking for a more modern and luxurious horsebox to travel in with their horse to an important event.
Our 3.5 tonne self drive horseboxes are very easy to drive and can be driven on a full car driving licence. They are fully insured, regularly serviced, covered by breakdown cover and sanitised between every hire.

Right turn before bridge, downhill concrete bumpy road and we are at the bottom. Please let us know when your collecting.

£120 per day

£250 Damage deposit is due on the day and is fully refundable with upon the horsebox being returned in same condition and refilled with Diesel.
250 miles are included with a day’s hire, miles over this are charged at £1.00 per mile.
The minimum hire period for our self drive horseboxes is one day.
Conditions
For UK/EU drivers aged 23-75 with a minimum of 5 years driving experience. We must be made aware of any points/convictions/DVLA notifiable disabilities.
Payment up front by BACS reserves a horsebox. Horseboxes are not held without payment. Please inform us once payment has been made to ensure the horsebox is reserved.
Refund Policy
100% refund if cancellation is before 7 days of the hire date. 50% refund any time thereafter up to the hire day.
